Hello all I am back on this rather chilly and foggy Monday morning with a very appropriate post… After this spring and summer’s craze with all things pastel, neon pink and copper I am so glad that this obsession has finally passed and the color trend is moving towards darker, moodier tones. I love to decorate with pops of color but have never been a big fan of limiting myself and rather like to change things up frequently – in fact, this fall I have been drawn to all shades of victorian, gothic color palettes and I am not the only one!
Ferm Living, on of my favorite source for contemporary children’s design and interior products has just launched a new Fall Winter Collection in collaboration with famed Swedish illustrator and designer Ingela P Arrhenius and not only is it fabulous, it also features all my favorite shades of color at the moment !
The new collection includes different wallpapers, a mobile and a quilted blanket as well as several organic cushions and bedding – all featuring Ingela’s whimsical illustrations of dreamy clouds, kites dressed with butterflies and simply adorable animal characters. Take a look !
I just adore the rich earth tones above ! They manage to create a soothing, warm atmosphere without being boring at all… Ferm Living just never disappoints !
How adorable is this little cloud wall lamp ? This coming month I will re-decorate Nick and Charlie’s shared room and as I love gender neutral children’s design I am sure that quite a few of these goodies will find their way into our home…
Charcoal and mustard have long been some of my favorite shades and I am seriously contemplating designing the room around them. They are warm, not seasonal, work well for both genders and offer a bit of a twist to the quite popular light grey/bright yellow nursery color scheme, right ? I’d love to hear what you think !
