A very happy Monday to you and I hope the sun is shining, wherever you are ! Here in Munich it’s raining again today but instead of moaning and groaning about it like I usually do, this morning I was inspired to look on the bright side and think of all the fun things one can do on a rainy summer day…
As you might know, I am crazy about photography so the first thing that popped into my mind when I looked out of the window this morning was photo-op !!! 😉 I am a firm believer in at least trying to make lemonade out of all the lemons life might hand me… so I did !
Today’s Music Monday post features three of my all time favorite songs for a rainy day and the cute example above of a rainy-day-photo-session with kids.
An American In Paris is one of my favorite movies and watching Gene Kelly tap dance in the rain and swing his umbrella around never fails to put the biggest smile on my face and instantly make me feel happy…
I am sure all of you know this song from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid but how hillarious is this 1970 video of B.J. Thomas performing his famous song live ?! The background dancers make me laugh so hard ! lol
Last but not least, here is another rainy-day classic from 1969 by one of my favorite bands EVER, Creedence Clearwater Revival. John Foggerty can do no wrong – ’nuff said ! 😉
Enjoy your day, Bridgee xx
